Prof. Hulya Ermis-Demirtas Earns NEIU Research Award

The NEIU Committee on Organized Research (COR), in collaboration with the Office of the Provost and the Advisory Committee on Faculty Awards, has awarded $4000 to Hulya Ermis-Demirtas, Assistant Professor of Counselor Education in the Goodwin College of Education. With the help of this award, effective June 2023, Dr. Ermis-Demirtas will collaborate with others to offer an art-based intervention to a group of socio-economically disadvantaged Chicago Public School students to promote their resilience and wellbeing.
