Journeying through history, learn how the spirit of Islam returned to the hearts of black Americans alienated from their roots. From Mecca to West Africa, the book chronicles how Islam reached America through the storms of slavery, Christianity, and Pan-Africanism, birthing the most prominent Islamic movement in American history: the Nation of Islam.

The book highlights how brilliant men such as Prince Hall, Noble Drew Ali, Marcus Garvey, and Mufti Muhammad Sadiq empowered prominent figures to bring about an Islamic revival in modern times.
