Northeastern Illinois University- Jacob H. Carruthers Center for Inner City Studies (CCICS) will begin the Bronzeville Citizens History Project workshops. Our goal is to have Bronzeville residents share their knowledge of Bronzeville’s storied history of culture, art, and business that is too often left out of the textbooks.
The workshops will feature History-writing and oral history workshops for residents and educators. A permanent interactive display of creations will be displayed in the Carruthers Center Library.
