Respect the Mic Poetry Competition

The Goodwin College of Education would like to make students and faculty aware of a free opportunity for teachers and teacher candidates: the "Respect the Mic" student and teacher poetry competition. 

A total of $3000 in prizes will be given for student poems inspired by the Respect the Mic anthology, as well as for short lesson plans created by teachers using the anthology. Hanif Abdurraqib is the final judge for the student competition and Carol Jago is the judge for the teacher competition. The competition is open to 6th through 12th grade students/teachers.
