Oct. 4 - The Transformative Role of Teachers at NEIU

The GCOE community is invited to attend a lecture by Dr. Pamela Geddes, the 2022 Audrey Reynolds Distinguished Teaching Professor. Dr. Geddes is a professor in the Department of Biology and Environmental Sciences Program at Northeastern Illinois University. She will present:

“It Takes a Village: The Transformative Role of Teachers at NEIU”

Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2022, 3:00-4:30 p.m.

Main Campus, Golden Eagles Room

Reception to follow lecture.

The award is given annually to the tenured member of Northeastern’s faculty who best demonstrates distinguished teaching—innovation, high standards and a positive impact on students at the University. Each year, the recipient of the award gives a presentation to our Northeastern community.
