Nominations Requested by Nov. 18 for Brommel Research Professor Award

 Dear faculty,

I am pleased to invite nominations for the annual Bernard J. Brommel Distinguished Research Professor Award.

This award was established through a gift from Dr. Bernard J. Brommel, Professor Emeritus, Communication, Media and Theatre. The recipient of the award shall be a tenured/tenure-track member of our faculty who best demonstrates excellence in research and scholarship.

The award is intended to reward established research by faculty members who have a record of success, and to encourage other faculty, especially young and new faculty members, to produce a significant body of work.

For details regarding the award and submission of nominations, please refer to my memo, which can be found in the Faculty tab of NEIUport, in the “Faculty Handbook and Resources” channel, under the heading of “Honors and Awards Guidelines.”

Nominations must be submitted to Renata Lis, Academic Affairs, at r-lis@neiu.edu by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022.

Sincerely,

Andrea E. Evans, Ph.D.

Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
